Read before you rely on trail data. IndySkiMaps is an informational convenience tool. It is not a substitute for a resort's official trail report, and it is not a safety resource. Always confirm current conditions, closures, and openings directly with the resort before you travel or ski.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using indyskimaps.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

2. What this Site is

IndySkiMaps is an independent, informational map that aggregates publicly available resort trail-condition data to help Indy Pass holders compare which resorts currently have more terrain open. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of Indy Pass or any resort shown on the map. Resort and pass-program names are used only to identify participating resorts and remain the property of their respective owners.

3. No warranty; data accuracy

Where real data is available, trail counts and open/closed status shown on the Site reflect a resort's Best Recent Weekend Capacity — the best-performing Friday, Saturday, or Sunday (by percentage of trails open) within the last 10 days — not a live, real-time snapshot. We show this instead of "today's" number because many resorts don't run full operations on weekdays, so a Tuesday snapshot alone would be a misleading basis for planning a weekend trip. Whenever the Site shows this kind of data, it labels which specific date it reflects.

This data may be:

delayed, since resorts update their own trail reports on their own schedule, and the Site only refreshes periodically;
unavailable for resorts we don't yet have scraper coverage for — in that case the Site shows "No data yet" rather than an estimate or placeholder number;
incomplete or inaccurate due to a source resort changing its page format, going offline, or reporting errors.

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Skiing and snowboarding carry inherent risk. You are solely responsible for verifying conditions with the resort directly before traveling or heading onto the mountain.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IndySkiMaps and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including wasted travel, lodging costs, or any loss — arising from your use of, or reliance on, information presented on the Site.

5. Advertising and affiliate links

The Site displays third-party advertising and may include affiliate links (e.g., lodging, gear, or rental car booking links). IndySkiMaps may earn a commission on purchases made through these links at no extra cost to you. We don't control and aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site you reach through an ad or affiliate link. 6. Acceptable use

You agree not to scrape, bulk-download, or systematically reproduce the Site's compiled resort data for republication elsewhere, and not to attempt to interfere with the Site's normal operation (e.g., excessive automated requests). Reasonable personal use — viewing the map, following a link, sharing a page URL — is of course fine.

7. Changes to the Site or these Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, and may update these Terms as the Site evolves. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
